WATERGUARD – BC (Bottom Cleaner) Oxidation cleaning for Periodical pond hygiene management

WATERGUARD-BC is an optimized mixture of stable oxidizing chemicals granulated to reach the bottom. As soon as added to water, it slowly reaches the bottom and Releases reactive oxygen slowly which is a power full gas that burns silently many organic maters. Available formula: F1

In general, sanitizers used as disinfectant in aquaculture practice disturb microbial decay of these wastes. Allowing microbial decay is also dangerous as it produces ammonia and severe biological oxygen demand. WATERGUARD-BC is designed to solve above such situation. As it is a good supplier of oxygen it also can be used in severe hypoxia arose from sudden breakdown of aerators, power failure and so on.

Directions for Use: Add 1 - 3 kg of WATERGUARD-BC per hectare. Apply every week from the fourth week of DOC. Lime may be used as an adjuvant. Do not dissolve it in water. Spread over water surface eventually on the path of feeding tracks where the possibility of residual feed is expected more. Always better to split the required dose and apply twice in a day than single. This will enable to maintain good oxygen content of pond water.

Aquaculture system differs from natural ecosystem where eco-cyclic process purifies water which include involvement of heterogeneous species, relativity low stocking density, dilution by fresh inlet, flush out by outlet water currents and there is no added feed all these conditions make necessary for this treatment.

Treatment to the bottom of culture ponds is usually ignored as the alarming condition of the bottom is not visible for observation. It must be noted that the turnover of residual feed, fecal matter and animal debris are increased day by day in an active culture pond so this treatment become essential. Caution: Oxidizers are power full gas expellers. They release gas suddenly when contact with water even with moisture air. All precautions related to Oxidizers must be followed.
