WATERGUARD – AR (Ammonia Reducer) for Water quality management

WATERGUARD – AR directly neutralize alkaline pH produced by elevation of ammonia. This reaction is immediate and convert toxic form of ammonia to organic nitrogen which can be easily assimilated by bacteria during night and by phytoplankton in day time. The composition of WATERGUARD – AR is designed with mixture of weak organic acids in such a way to form buffer with alkaline forming cations hence, there is no abrupt change in pH when it is slightly excess. Most of the organic acids are intermediate metabolite of microorganism which facilitate effective removal by their assimilation.

Directions for use: Frequent and close monitoring of ammonia and pH levels are very important for timely action with WATERGUARD – AR with an appropriate dose. Add 10 liters of water to 1 Kg of WATERGUARD - AR, dissolve and spill over water surface with aerator. Dose 1 - 3 Kg / Hectare.

If there is prolonged elevation of ammonia level it is necessary to examine bottom condition of the pond. The hygiene of the bottom could be maintained by effective sanitizer WATERGUARD – GC and BOD can be managed by WATERGUARD – BC. Frequent application of Zeolite to the bottom may be helpful for better management of ammonia.

Caution: Although organic acids are weaker they can damage skin and sensitive organs. Immediate wash with running tab water will minimize injury. Seek medical advice when necessary. This pack contains highly concentrated acid substances. Always handle with glasswares. Avoid contacts with metals, its corrosive nature will contaminate the solution.
