NUTRIMIX – BE (Binding Excipient) Feed coating paste, Supporting / Utility / Accessories

A feed grade powder, soluble in water and become gel on heating. This gel is stable at room temperature, highly viscus and sticky able to bind medicaments, active ingredients, and feed supplement powders on feed pellet surface. After drying well, it allows feed pellets to carry the medicaments for oral route delivery without loss on leaching to water. As it is easily digestible medicament is dispensed to alimentary system of prawn / shrimp. Available formula: F1

Key ingredients: A mixture of long chain with highly branched polysaccharides and Muco-polysaccharides from plant materials like exudates, resins and extracts.

Directions for use: Add 1 kg of NUTRIMIX - BE powder to 5L of water, dissolve and boil for 20 - 30 min to form gel. Allow to cool before mixing with feed along with your powder of interest. Mix feed supplement powder with gel and regular feed. Ensue your mix that uniformly distributed and coated. Allow to dry completely. Air dry or mild sunlight may be used for drying.

Test a pinch of this coated feed with a cup of water and observe for stability. Good binding should withstand at least for 30 min. If coating leaches to water before 30 min reprocess the coating or wait for drying. It is recommended to prepare freshly for before use. Gel may be stored for few hours at room temperature and for a few days by refrigeration.

The user of this product must run a trial test with a small quantity of sample because the following parameters like quantity of medicament to be coated, physical properties of the powder, surface and structure of feed pellet, required stability time and so on. Necessary corrections by your trial experience to be adopted for effective utilization.
